Opening Lines (creating jumpers) [backward]
This function may be needed when preparing a layout for laser cutting, it opens all lines to the required distance (0.3 mm by default) thus creating the bridges that are necessary to hold the shapes on the material during laser cutting. To apply it, select all objects in CorelDRAW where you want to open lines and click the corresponding button on the PlotCalc toolbar It can be applied to any objects with lines, conversion to curves is not necessary. The order of the structure within the object groups is retained in its original form after applying. The distance for line opening depends on the material thickness (0.3 mm by default) You can change the value for the offset in the PlotCalc settings You may also need a feature when preparing for laser cutting: "Cropping a bitmap image by contour" |
